ALTONA, MB – Red River Mutual is pleased to once again support the Altona Community Foundation with a cheque for $5,000.This contribution fits with the Red River Mutual commitment to emulate the ‘modern mutual’ through support for the community.

The Altona Community Foundation continues to build a reserve. Every year, the interest earned from the reserve is granted to projects in the community focusing on education, health, heritage, and recreation. In 2012, the foundation granted over $20,000 to community projects like the Neubergthal History Book, South Central Cancer Resource, Rosenfeld Good Neighbour Centre, Blue Sky Opportunities, Altona Senior Citizen Club, and several others.

Red River Mutual emulates the “Modern Mutual” by investing a portion of company profits back into the community through loss prevention education and through the support of worthy community projects.
