Update: COVID-19 – Health & Safety is Our Priority

To our valued customers,
Faced with the current situation surrounding COVID-19, we would like to remind you that we are taking the recommendations of the Public Health Agency of Canada and provincial health authorities seriously. To ensure we are maintaining a work environment that is safe and secure for everyone, we are sharing a few of the key preventative measures we are continuing here at Red River Mutual.
What we are doing:

- Site visits for claims and inspections: We are following the recommendations of federal and provincial health authorities and, as such, we have elected to temporarily increase restrictions to help limit the number of site inspections for our Claims and Loss Prevention teams. You may still choose any of the following options to make a claim:

- Contact your insurance broker directly
- Complete our online claims form
- Phone our head office at 1-800-370-2888
- Email the Claims Department at claims@redrivermutual.com

- Social distancing: Our employees have been asked to work from home whenever possible and practice social distancing when in the workplace. We ask that customers refrain from visiting our office locations in person and instead address inquiries by phone (toll-free) at 1-800-370-2888 or by email at info@redrivermutual.com.
- Information about policy coverage: We understand that you may have concerns about the potential implications COVID-19 may have on you and how your insurance policy would respond. For specific questions about policies, we are asking customers to contact their insurance broker directly for assistance. You can locate your Red River Mutual broker’s contact information on our website at: https://redrivermutual.com/locate-a-broker/

In the meantime, public health officials are reminding all Canadians to frequently wash their hands, stay home when sick, and take simple preventive measures when outside the home.
