Altona, Manitoba –On Wednesday, September 13th, 2012 Red River Mutual staff road the Big Bike for Heart and Stroke through the streets of Altona to raise funds and awareness for a great cause.

The 28 participating riders included Red River Mutual staff along with representatives from Prairie Insurance and BSI Insurance.

Spokesperson Joyce Hildebrandt said this has turned into an annual event and this year marks the fourth year Red River Mutual has participated. Red River Mutual matches funds raised by the riders. This year, The ‘Mutual Marauders’ raised their highest annual donations to date with a whopping $5,150. Since 2009, Red River Mutual staff and supporting brokers has raised $16,500 riding the Big Bike for Heart and Stroke.
