The Altona Safety Day was held at the Millenium Exhibition Centre in Altona, MB on Friday, May 25th, 2012. 175 Grade 5 students from across the Pembina Valley learned how to stay safe this summer at the annual Farm Safety Day in Altona. The students went through the Red River Mutual Firefighters’ Burn Fund Fire Safety Trailer. Each received a fire extinguisher stress ball, fire-escape planning tool and Home Safety Checklist in their take home bag. Pembina Valley Online
