Ritchot Senior Service

Ritchot Senior Services is dedicated to enhancing the lives of the 55+ community in Ritchot. The centre offers a diverse range of programs and services, from weekly coffee mornings to fitness classes, educational guest speakers, hobby groups, bingo sessions, and monthly outings that foster social interaction and well-being.  The centre’s goal is to empower individuals aged 55 and above to maintain their independence and dignity in their own homes for as long as possible.

The centre proposes two essential projects:

• • First, they plan to perform maintenance on their nearly eight-year-old deck, wheelchair ramp, and garden deck. This includes sanding, staining, board replacement, and minor repairs to enhance safety and extend their lifespan.
  • Second, they aim to replace their ill-fitting door with a windowed one, improving visibility and reducing congestion. Additionally, they will replace the storm door for better protection and energy efficiency. These improvements prioritize safety and comfort for all users.
