Redvers & District Recreation Centre Swimming Pool

The Redvers & District Recreation Centre strives to provide its community and surrounding areas with a top-grade facility for sports, leisure, and recreation. Families travel from out-of-town to participate in swimming lessons, and because the pool is located next to the campgrounds in town, many families stay and play in Redvers. This year, pool staff consists of 10 staff members, which the community needs to keep up with the demand for the pool and the various classes and activities it offers. 

The pool is located on the west side of the building, where the sun shines bright, but there isn’t enough shade for these families to stay cool and safe. The community would like to add some umbrellas to help keep the space welcoming for all.

“Redvers is a community of about 1,000 people, with many of them being young families, and they get involved where they can so the centre can remain a viable community space.”
