Melita Minor Ball Diamonds

The Melita Minor Baseball Diamonds in Melita, Manitoba were severely damaged after a big flood in 2014, and from 2020 to 2022, COVId-19 pandemic stripped the community kids of being able to play. The small farming community has been working hard to get the diamonds back into a state they can be proud of, and the older kids are fostering a love of baseball in the community again – 85 kids are registered to play baseball this year!
All four of the diamonds need new clay, fencing, bleachers, dugouts, and more. Replacing their infield especially will increase the playability of the diamonds for all ages and disciplines, including baseball, softball, or slow pitch.
