Kamsack Sportsgrounds

From slo-pitch tournaments and Canada Day Fireworks to Mud Bogs and Snowmobile trails, the Kamsack Sportsgrounds have been a year-round gathering space, and the heart of our community for decades. On summer days, the pool is filled with families from Kamsack and surrounding communities. Likewise, ball games fill the bleachers with enthusiastic fans. The sportsgrounds are, of course, well-used due to their recreational versatility but they are loved for their legacy of inspiring community spirit. Like many small communities, Kamsack is home to a number of well-loved aging facilities. This history is a crucial thread in the fabric of our town, and building morale through rejuvenating the Sportsgrounds is the first step in ensuring that the spaces that made Kamsack will be preserved and usable for future generations to enjoy.

The Town is beginning Phase One of the Kamsack Sportsgrounds Revitalization Project, which is focused on rejuvenating the Kamsack Pool and Sportsground Concession Area. The primary scope of the work will be painting and completing repairs to damage caused by weather and frequent use.
